I grew up with this restaurant and I am still eating here now The food is very nice, the design is nice and the waiters are helpful I normally come here on Saturdays This why Gao Ren Guan is my favourite restaurant
I always get the statement "WOW! You are working in Jaya One, and they have so many eateries over there." Well, when you have been working in a place for too long, you would have tried most of the eateries and might not be that excited anymore. When I first saw Gao Ren Guan I was very confuse on the type of cuisine they offer, and always have the feeling that it would be very costly to dine in there. It was until one weekday that my friend suggested having our lunch at the restaurant, only have I known I was wrong. Compare to some of the Chinese Restaurant, their pricing were reasonable. Even with a budget, you can still order a plate of fried rice or noodles for less than RM10 and it comes with a very decent portion. Ever since our first visit, we would dine in almost every month. One of my favourite was their Stir Fried Pork Belly Grandpa Style - tender pork belly generously coated with black soy sauce. If you love bitter gourd then you have to try one of their signature dishes - Bitter Gourd Stuffed with Minced Meat. You have the choice of 4 or 6 pieces, and they served it in full instead of slicing them up. Overall, the food was delicious and it's a nice place to have family or friends gathering. I brought my family there once and they loved it a lot.
